If you've been told to self-isolate or you need to stay off work to look after a child whose self-isolating, you could be eligible for a £500 support payment if you're on a low income and cannot work. A claim must be made within 28 days of the first day of your self-isolation. This support scheme has now been extended to 30th September 2021.
